Arusha National Park starts at our gate: elephant, giraffe, buffalo and zebra grazing by lakes where flamingos bathe, and a picnic somewhere in the middle of it.
Further out we run the northern circuit, from Tarangire and Lake Manyara to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti.

Kilimanjaro stands 5,895 m above sea level, and we run every main route up it: Marangu, Machame, Umbwe, Rongai and Lemosho, over five or six days.
Mount Meru rises 4,566 m directly above the lodge and takes three or four days. Climbers often use it to acclimatise before Kilimanjaro, and sleep here either side.
Nothing can explain Africa more than breathing in its fresh air whilst walking through it.
Walk to the neighbouring villages through forest that opens onto a local market, with a guide who grew up on this mountain.
Or spend a morning on our organic farm, where coffee is still roasted the traditional way and most of what you ate last night was grown.

Plan your own route and we supply the vehicle: a Land Rover 110 or Toyota Land Cruiser, with a driver or without, and camping equipment if you want it.
To drive yourself you need a Tanzanian or international driving licence.
At the lodge
